Holly E. Brown.

Holly’s  architectonisch geïnspireerde afdrukken vormen een  evenwicht en ritme tussen de rauwheid van de werkelijkheid en de abstractie. Door nauwkeurig uitsnijden en tekenen wordt Brown's precieze behoefte aan structuur en controle van het stedelijke milieu opgewekt in de dynamische composities die aanwezig zijn in haar collagraphs ( een soort collage druk techniek) en etsen. Ze werkt reductief om een ​​positieve-negatieve omgeving in elkaar te brengen waarin ruimte, vorm, perspectief en textuur verweeft worden.

Holly E. Brown is in 1976 in Zuid-Californië geboren. Ze heeft haar B.F.A. In 1998 van de Universiteit van Syracuse, New York en een M.A. in 2003 van Brooklyn College, New York. Brown's solo tentoonstelling 'Recente Werken' bij Ray Brandstore, Delft (2016) debuteerde haar werk in Nederland. Zij heeft in diverse groepsuitstallingen tentoon gesteld, waaronder '2 x 5', Grafische Werkplaats, Den Haag, Nederland (2017), '30ste Bradley International Print and Drawing Tentoonstelling', Bradley University, Illinois (2005) en de '107e Jaarlijkse Open Tentoonstelling' "National Arts Club, New York (2003). Zij was een Artist-in-Residence bij Grafische Werkplaats, Den Haag (2016) en The Cooper Union, New York (2005). Brown's etsen zijn te vinden in de permanente collecties van The Library of Congress, Washington, D.C., Yale University, Connecticut en Princeton University, New Jersey.

Brown splitst momenteel haar tijd in Brooklyn, New York en Den Haag, Nederland.

Holly E. Brown’s architecturally inspired prints balance a rhythm between the rawness of reality and the abstract. Through meticulous carving and mark-making Brown’s precise need for structure and control of the urban environment is evoked in the dynamic compositions present in her collagraphs and etchings.  She works reductively to juxtapose a positive-negative environment in which space, form, perspective, and texture are interwoven.

Holly E. Brown was born in Southern California in 1976.  She received her B.F.A. in 1998 from Syracuse University, New York and an M.A. in 2003 from Brooklyn College, New York.  Brown’s solo exhibition “Recente Werken” at Ray Brandstore, Delft (2016) debuted her work in the Netherlands. Robert Bink

Robert, geboren in Schijnel in 1975 is gespecialiseerd in de ets techniek. Op jonge leeftijd is hij in aanraking gekomen met de kunst en de druk kunst in het bijzonder. Zijn inspiratie komt o.a. uit de architectuur en muziek. Zijn etsen zijn meestal in zwart wit om het contrast maximaal tot zijn recht te laten komen. Naast zijn werk als kunstenaar werkt robert als forensisch onderzoeker.  Inmiddels heeft Robert als diverse tentoonstellingen gehad zowel in binnen als in het buitenland.

Robert Bink (b. Schijndel, NL 1975) is a Dutch printmaker specializing in etching. His passion and curiosity for drawing and painting was seeded at a young age. Nowadays, his inspiration comes from historical constructions, scientific discoveries and music. Robert’s ideas are captured in an image consisting of shapes and lines. Both his intaglio and relief prints are mostly in black and white to maximize contrast effects and are in small editions. He has exhibited in the Netherlands and abroad. Next to his artistic activities, Robert works as a forensic scientist in The Hague.
